Thursday, February 9th: First day for to apply for an absentee ballot
Tuesday, February 21st: Voter registration closes for deputy registers and local election officials
Wednesday, February 22nd – Tuesday, March 13th: Grace period registartion & voting
Monday, February 27th – Thursday, March 15th: Early voting period
Thursday, March 15th: Last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail
Friday, March 16th – Monday, March 19th: Nursing home & In-Office absentee voting
Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012

Cook County Board of Review Commissioners Supreme, Appellate, Circuit and Subcircuit Judges Judicial Retention
The following will be elected:
Delegates and Alternate Delegates to National Nominating Convention
Delegates at Large and Alternate Delegates at Large may be elected at the General Primary Election, or selected by the State Convention, or chosen by a combination of the two methods.
Democratic and Republican Party Ward Committeemen in the City of Chicago
(1 to be elected for each party in each of City’s 50 wards)
